What on earth is ’theodicity’? My grandmother used to commend “the patience of Job’”. And now, arrived at her age, I still puzzle over the suffering of the innocent, since they continue to suffer today, as much as ever they did. Job suffered tremendously and even more, because his so-called friends judged him.
