There are several LCM communities, in family-sized units, throughout Ireland. Sisters from these come together regularly for prayer, reflection and recreation. Their ministries include: nursing, parish work, theological study, chaplaincies to prison and college, school retreats, administration and nursing education. We are all focused on building up the people of God in our local areas, through friendship and being good neighbours.

Milford Care Centre is the approved provider of palliative care for the Mid West and comprises a hospice, nursing home and a day care centre. 

The Hospice Home Care programme for patients with cancer or terminal illness is co-ordinated from here for those who need pain or symptom control, admission or respite care.
